Another unique city to visit in the Netherlands after Amsterdam is definitely Rotterdam. We took FlixBus from Amsterdam to Rotterdam which is only about two hours ride. Here is my 2 days itinerary in Rotterdam.
Day 1: Stayokay Rotterdam Cube Hostel ➪ Local Market ➪ Markthal ➪ Dinner at Markthal

Our bus took off at 10:00a.m. and arrived at Rotterdam at 11:40a.m. The bus stop we got off was not close to the city centre. Therefore, we had to take another local bus ride to the centre. It was easy though. We walked by a weekend market where they sell flowers, food, dry ingredients etc. It was lovely. Then, we put our luggage in hostel and off to get some food! We ended up buying this Tukish roll for just 3€! So cheap and delicious!

Here's the real deal, Markthal! It was a food hall with cuisines all over the world. We were amazed by everything we saw. Everything looked absolutely appealing, we couldn't help but stopped and got more food even we already had lunch. We bought a chocolate cookie, it tasted amazing.

We then walked around and went back to Markthal for dinner. We had a Greek-style pizza which only costed 6€! Very decent meal. This is how we spent our first day in Rotterdam.
Day 2: Windmills ➪ Overnight bus to Munich

We decided to visit the Windmills on our second day here. It was a cloudy and rainy day. We took a 20 mins walk from the hostel to the water bus station. Unfortunately we messed up with the schedule so we need to wait for the next water bus at 10:35a.m. We went in a hotel restaurant for a cup of hot chocolate. Really warms our heart. Finally, we were on the water bus. A lady came to collect the fee which is 4€. It took around 30 mins to get there.

Luckily it stopped raining when we were there. The location is pretty peaceful, there are around 20 windmills from what I saw. (Not sure lol). We took some photos and spent around 2 hours there. It would have been so much enjoying if the weather was nicer. Still, recommend visiting there. After that, we had lunch at the only restaurant in the location. The burger was pretty good.
Time to go back to Rotterdam, we bought our dinner from the supermarket. Took the tram to central station. It was pouring rain outside. Finally, we got on the bus at 6p.m. and started our 14-hours bus ride to Munich.
Rotterdam is definitely a good choice if you visit the Netherlands. The architecture is very modern. Cheap food, nice people. It has a bit of Amsterdam vibe but not as tourist-populated which you can have a glimpse of daily life of the locals.
